Biographical Info
Bianca Lopez Valencia was born and raised in Oklahoma City, she is the oldest of four children. She studied Broadcast Journalism & Film at The University of Oklahoma, in 2009 she graduated with her bachelor’s degree from OU. Her first job out of college was at Telemundo, there she gained experience as a producer, reporter and assignment editor. During that time, she traveled to Chihuahua, Mexico for a missionary trip with her church. After seeing the hunger and need firsthand, her life changed forever.
Soon after returning from the mission, she wanted to get involved with an organization that helps families in her home state. Her sister was the one who found the Make a Wish organization and together they partnered up to fulfill wishes for children who are battling a threatening disease. Her parents and grandparents played an important role in her life, she grew up seeing their example of always lending a helping hand to all who needed it. Bianca wanted to find ways to give back financially so she used her talents in design to help raise funds for missionary work in Mexico. Soon after, she launched a campaign to raise funds for the Make A Wish Foundation in Oklahoma.
After overwhelming response, she has dedicated some of the proceeds of sales to mission work around the world. She has partnered with local missionaries to help raise funds in Honduras, Peru & Brazil. Currently, she is the lead designer for a luxury real estate company and works closely with local ad agencies in the Hispanic market. Bianca is already planning her next design to help raise funds for the missionary trip next March for her church Templo de Alabanza, located in the heart of OKC. This month she is also launching her design to help raise funds for the Make a Wish foundation, she loves to get the Hispanic community involved and helping those in need.
